I love this product! I live in an off-grid tiny house with storage batteries and a fridge using 64 watts such as this means it works even during rainy periods without much sun to charge the batteries. When empty it is light enough for me to move easily. It is fairly quiet, but still I keep it outside as I sleep in the one room. I make sure it does not get the afternoon sun though. Very happy with it.

On a long trip from Perth to Vic and back stopping many times on the way it kept everything nice and cold it was great to have a chilled drink and fairly solid butter plus what ever else we loaded it with to use.

I have one in my truck, not real impressed as it does not keep anything really chilled even on the coldest setting.

Tentworld Tentworld ResponseSorry to hear that you're not thrilled with your thermo cooler. They're unreal things in the right circumstances. On hot Australian days it will struggle, particularly if the truck is not kept on for long periods of time. If you're doing longer trips, and you're running AirCon it should do fine. If you're not running AC, then make sure you load it full and with cold things. It will help keep them cool for longer when you're not running AC. If you're still finding its not performing to your expectations you're better off considering a compressor fridge, they're better suited to very hot days and for non stop operation. I hope this helps! Kind Regards & Happy Camping ~ Tentworld team.
