A compact twin-rod fire starter with a folding layout that offers a complete fire starting solution, in particular when tinder is limited. a magnesium rod for tinder and a ferrocerium rod for the spark and an included striker. The ferrocerium spark rod produces extremely excessive temperature sparks at 2,980ºC making it easy to ignite dry tinder in any weather or altitude. The magnesium rod can be used to create tremendously flammable tinder shavings if you want to light effectively. ideal for use on dry fibrous tinder, fuel stoves and extra.
