Reviews of OZtrail Sundowner Dome Tent
OZtrail Sundowner Dome Tent(5) By: Tom and Naomi on 20 April 2018This tent is very light and sturdy. Easy to put up with poles that aren’t confusing. Plenty of room to stand up in. The second room having a closed in floor is what sealed the deal for us. Plenty of doors and windows for airflow.
OZtrail Sundowner Dome Tent(5) By: Karen Pritchard on 28 January 2018I ordered this tent and received it in 2 days, amazing.I am a single mum of a lazy teenage boy. I have never put up a tent or even been camping before. I had this tent put up and pegged down in 15 mins all by myself. Very very easy to put up. Loved all the windows and doors on the 38 degree days, Great tent, very roomy and I could stand up in it. I can't praise this tent enough. Highly recommended.
OZtrail Sundowner Dome Tent(1) By: Terry on 8 September 2017Came with a rip in the insect screen that i was forced to repair as i was out bush when i unpacked The raised floor between the two rooms is a trip over magnet.
Tentworld ResponseSorry to hear your tent did not arrive to you in perfect condition Terry. If you email us pictures of the issue, we'll help get this sorted for you ASAP. You are right, the raised floor between the rooms can trip the unfamiliar camper up. Unfortunately this material is needed in order to be able to create insect proof divide between rooms. This is especially helpful in areas with lots of mosquitos/flys. It allows you to shake off most when first entering the tent, and then shake off the balance before entering the bedroom. Usually you get used to it pretty soon, it is a common feature of nearly all tents. Kind Regards & Happy Camping ~ Tentworld Team.
OZtrail Sundowner Dome Tent(5) By: Jackie on 8 January 2017We set it up on the lawn to go through the waterproofing procedure and also to see how easy it would be to set up. It was pretty straight forward. But we decided to tie a coloured ribbon onto the loops at either side of the front of the tent so that it would be even easier to quickly identify the entrance, especially if it was dark, We only had time to water spray it once as it had to be repacked for the next day's camping trip so will have to complete this. My 21year old son said it was great with plenty of room. I bought 2 sets of awning poles (extra cost) in order to have 2 awnings set up. Its a huge improvement on our previous tent and it fits quite easily into the bag. Overall extremely happy with the product and the excellent phone service. I bought this online without having seen it so appreciated the help from the phone staff with my questions.
OZtrail Sundowner Dome Tent(4) By: Jennifer on 14 April 2016I recently purchased the 6 man sundowner dome tent, and was pleasantly surprised at the size of it!. It's a sturdy tent, unlike other cheap tents that are quite flimsy. The thing i like about this tent is it has a full cover fly which is waterproof, and made of good quality material. I haven't used it as yet, but will be in july, when i'm going bush camping. As far as price goes, i found it was quite reasonable for the quality of the tent. The only downside of it is the pegs, they kept coming out of the ground, as it was soft ground at the time i put the tent up, and they bend easily. I will have to get other pegs, but apart from that it's a good roomy tent with plenty of head room to stand up in. I give this tent 4 stars, only because of the pegs.
