Zempire Camping Has Launched A New Portable Air Shelter for the Upcoming Camping Season

The Zempire 'Speedbase 2 Air Shelter' is the Lightest and Most Portable Air Gazebo Zempire have ever Created. 

Designed to complement Zempire’s portable Aerospeed Air Tent Series, the Speedbase 2 weighs just 9.65kg (21lbs 5oz), making it ideal for campsites, beaches, events, or backyards.

The air gazebo can connect to all Zempire Aerospeed Air Tents via additional links (sold separately). Like the Aerospeeds, the Speedbase 2 is constructed with Zempire’s Dura Core ripstop polyester fabric, which is durable, solution-dyed, fade-resistant, and designed with minimal environmental impact.

It also introduces a new add-on option that allows the shelter to be used not only for rain and sun protection, but also for overnight stays.

Totally new to the range is the Speedbase 2 Bedroom Pod (sold separately), a compact yet spacious sleeping pod that transforms the shelter into an overnight camping solution. Sleeping up to two people, the Bedroom Pod simply zips onto any of the shelter’s sides. Once attached, campers only need to stake the peg points to complete the setup.

Zempire CEO and Founder Richard Knauf is eager to see how the new Speedbase 2 range performs in the New Zealand and Australian markets:

Zempire's Speedbase 2 features rapid inflation technology and robust construction for hassle-free setup and exceptional wind stability. Inflation takes under 2 minutes from a single point using the included pump.

The hybrid frame includes aluminium brow poles to maximize internal space. When set up, the covered space measures 260cm x 260cm with a maximum height of 225cm.

The Speedbase 2 Bedroom Pod provides sleeping space for two campers with internal dimensions of 225cm x 170cm and a maximum height of 165cm.

With easy setup, ample storage, and features such as a 360° door, lantern hook, and power cord access, it offers a highly portable solution for couples. Both the Speedbase 2 Air Shelter and Bedroom Pod are fully waterproof, equipped with a 3,000mm waterhead rating.

Knauf believes it will be especially appealing for couples:
