BlackWolf Turbo Lite Mesh Side Panel
(5) By: Kay on 7 January 2018When I bought this product it hadn't occurred to me that the there would be no flap outside to unroll and cover the mesh in bad weather. (Picture shows inside only and it's commonsense 101 you need to keep things dry.) Well there is no flap. I really can't see the point in what is essentially a panel that people can see through, sun can get through, rain can get through and mosquitoes can get underneath. Two alternatives - no panel at all - or upgrade to the deluxe side panel with a sophisticated flap and an extra piece at the bottom which would enable mosquito proofing. I did the latter and can recommend it as fit for purpose. This one? I'm not sure what purpose it serves for the ordinary camper.
Tentworld ResponseThanks for your review! The purpose of this one is for maintaining as much ventilation as possible, but to help add another barrier for insects. Say in areas with lots of mosquitos but where it's hot. However, I agree, I think the deluxe side panel is probably the better way to go for most campers. Gives more flexibility.
