purchased mainly to produce hot water
Bought 2, one leaked right from the start (only slightly). Did not actually attempt to use as shower - in practice it is hard to find a place to hang such a heavy item and make it work. Thought it might be useful to fill a bucket in which to then have a wash, but it is quite awkward to get water out of it while it is on the ground, and it's heavy to lift up when full. When in half sun, half shade it did not warm up sufficiently for a shower. It could work as a water storage option but is obviously prone to leakage. The shower rose on it is so small I can't imagine getting a very satisfactory shower from it.
All in all, it was easier to heat water on the stove, put it in a bucket and use a dipper to wash.
Love it. So easy to use. Water + gravity = couldn’t be simpler
Good build quality. Heats up nicely in the sun. Only problem is the nozzle is hard to open with slippery hands.
