The Dometic PLB40 Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate battery is designed for powering portable fridge/freezers and other 12V appliances while being off-grid. Thanks to its lightweight and compact design you can enjoy true independence and travel off-grid for longer.
The power of the Dometic PLB40 is supplied by integrated Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery cells, providing an energy supply of 512 Wh. Manufactured for use in harsh outdoor environments, its durable design will keep all your gear charged and ready for use when needed the most.
Lightweight, with an ergonomically designed stainless steel handle, the PLB40 is easily portable, while an integrated DC-DC charger offers three convenient ways to charge either by the 12V socket on your vehicle, solar panel or AC power at home. The battery’s integrated battery management system protects the PLB40 from under-voltage, over-voltage, short-circuiting and overheating for optimum charge time, performance and storage.
With this power management system, the Dometic PLB40 has a cycle of life which is up to five times longer than more commonly used lead-acid batteries. The user-friendly, the integrated LCD screen displays important information on performance including the battery capacity, charging/discharging status and output status.
This cutting-edge battery system utilises market leading technology which is a result of years of research and development. Ideal for powering portable fridges/freezers and other 12 V appliances while on your next adventure, the PLB40 provides up to 40 hours of cooling time based on tests for a Dometic CFX 40W on a single charge.
