So far so good although I did get bitten in the backyard at dusk but perhaps I didn't apply enough of the repellent on that area of my body? Time will tell once the rainy seasons finally get here. Easy to use and pleasant fragrance (not overpowering) - no skin reaction. Super fast delivery. Happy so far
Great product. I used this years ago in Africa and found it to work very well. I really want an effective repellent that is also environmentally friendly and I don't like spraying strong chemicals all over my body or on children. This is made from lemon eucalyptus. The mossies here in the north at this time of year, are really bad so I googled for an Australian stockist and ordered from tentworld. The mosi guard arrived quickly and I'm happily using it daily. I have noticed that when the mossies aren't too bad - just applying to wrists and back of neck and ankles is enough but when they are really bad, you need to wipe a layer to cover every bit of skin or the mossies just find the bits of skin that aren't covered in the cream. Apparently, there's also a stronger Mosi guard available now too. Hopefully tentworld will stock this too!
Awesome hard to find product, great alternative to deet. Fast shipping
I first used Mosiguard in Thailand in 1994, having initially purchased it in London. It has since then, successfully protected me from notorious hazards like, Dengue Fever and Malaria in Asia, the Tetse fly in Kenya and Tanzania, the Human Bot Fly in the Amazon and leeches, mossies and blow flies in Australia, without fail. Most recently I used it on my arms, feet and ankles en route to do an evening watering at a friend's garden. I stopped off at the supermarket and the sales assistant complimented me on my perfume; Mosiguard no less! By the next day I was laughing with friends about my new and exclusive insect repelling fragrance! It might smell great to humans, but the nasty and potentially life threatening insects avoid it like the plague. As someone severely allergic to DEET based repellents, I sometimes think Mosiguard has protected me, without exception in some of the hardest natural environments in the world! I never leave home without several containers in my luggage as it is extremely hard to get! Thumbs up to Tentworld for stocking it! I can't recommend both the roll on and spray forms highly enough. Tips: When using either rub the Mosiguard over your skin, don't just leave it dotted on the initial contact spots. If insect bites are highly likely and carry high risk, pop some on your clothes, through your hair, inside the rim of hats, onto the bottom of your feet and socks, and on the soles of your shoes, if seeking to repel leeches. Mosiguard has given me the confidence to take on travelling to environments many avoid for fear of biting, nasty insects. It is my personal first pack item and the only thing I ever carry in multiples on any trip!
Very effective for flies and mossies, as well as using it on ourselves we dabbed a bit on paper towels and placed them around various parts of our deck, the number of flies was noticeably less.
Finally, an all natural, all insect repellent that really works. Midges are an insect from hell and this stuff seems to keep them away. I would much rather wear this inoffensive fragrance of eucalyptus than to utterly reek of toxic deet.
