OZtrail 5T Winch Extension Strap

The OZtrail 5T Winch Extension Strap is a practical recovery accessory designed to extend the reach of your winch when an anchor point is just out of range. Ideal for recoveries in sand, mud, bush and steep terrain, it provides the extra length needed to complete a safe and controlled recovery.

Constructed from heavy-duty polyester webbing, the strap is built for strength, durability and reliable performance in demanding off-road conditions. With up to 20% stretch, it helps absorb load during recoveries, reducing stress on winch systems and recovery points while promoting smoother operation. Rated to a 5 tonne minimum breaking strength, it is well suited to light and medium-duty 4WD recovery situations.

Reinforced end loops, protective neoprene sleeves and heavy-duty stitching help maximise durability in high-wear areas. Independently tested and certified through a NATA-accredited laboratory, the strap delivers dependable performance when it matters most. Compact and easy to store, with a convenient tie loop included, it is an essential addition to any recovery kit.

• It is recommended that the minimum breaking strength of the strap should be between 2 and 3 times the gross vehicle mass (GVM) of any vehicle it is used with. This recovery strap must be suited to the lighter of the 2 vehicles used in the recovery progress.
