To prevent cold spots, this mat has offset air sprung cells, both top and bottom to give uniform insulation. All of us have different preferences for mat firmness and with the Sea to Summit Comfort Plus Insulated Sleep Mat you can finely tune to your desired comfort level thanks to its Dual Layer construction. The bottom layer can be inflated firm for height and the top layer inflated for comfort. Punctures are no fun when you are trying to sleep, but if either layer of your Sea to Summit Comfort Plus Insulated Sleep Mat is punctured, the other will provide redundancy, keeping you off the ground and fast to sleep!
