Simply load the Travel Buddy up with pies, pasties, sausage rolls, pizzas, hotdogs or a pre-prepared meal and plug into your vehicle cigarette lighter socket. Easy to use, just set the timer and while you are driving or parked, your meal is being heated or cooked.
The Travel Buddy is a sturdy oven that you can take anywhere, ideal for 4x4 activities, camping, caravan and boating trips, touring, farmers and tradespeople. The stainless steel makes it easy to use and to clean. If your vehicle has a socket for power, then there is nowhere that the Travel Buddy can't go! Heat a meal while you travel, it doesn't matter if there are no shops around, your meal will be ready when you arrive. The Travel Buddy's heating temperature reaches approximately 190 degrees celcius+ after the initial warm-up. We recommend preheating the oven approximately 30min before intended use to reduce cooking times.

Purchased this oven in April from Tentworld. Oven has never reached anywhere near advertised temperature (190ºC+). Contacted Travel Buddy customer service, who blamed the connection to my vehicle. As directed by them, I changed vehicle batteries, ran from the vehicle/alternator, used a 25A charger on the battery, used different wiring, changed cig plug to Anderson Connector and provided temperature probe read-outs to assist - it takes several hours to preheat and only reaches a maximum temperature of 126ºC (2/3rd what they advertise), and they haven't answered any of my communications since. Travel Buddy told Tentworld I'd have to pay for postage both ways for them to even take a look at it (even though it's within the warranty period). I really wanted to like this product, but can't recommend it and will be trying the Road Chef oven in the near future for (hopefully) a better result.
Perfect , cook dinner while driving
My partner is a truck driver, and he has found this to be fantastic! He can now cook and reheat meals on the road. The oven simply plugs into to your cigarette lighter and you turn it on and it heats up. It even has a timer. The outside remains cool enough to have it sitting on the floor of the truck, or on top of the fridge.(He will eventually mount it up in the bunk). He has cooked all sorts of delicious meals and snacks; including lovely damper, bread, pizza, toasted sangas, and baked goodies.
Its also fantastic for heating, and can warm up a pie from frozen to hot in just over an hour.
I'd highly recommend one to any truckie. Get the missus to foil pack any left overs, and take them with you on the road. Home cooked meals that you can warm up as you drive. Get the big oven. You will not be happy with the smaller version and your big man-hands; and remember- its a tax deduction for your business.

Great little oven great service arrived quickly
Brought one 12 months ago from tent world at Brendale to put in my truck, and all I can really say is...... it is sooooooo sweeeet. 100% LOVE this oven. With aluminium bbq trays from Bunnings & oven bags I can reheat soup while driving.. freeze toast then reheat..... we even take it camping. It has one small fault, the power plug did not last long. So I just replaced it and all good. 110% recommend this oven
It is for my son as he had borrowed a mates travel buddy and had used it when him & I went on a camping trip. Very happy with it and will get one myself at a later date.
