We worked for years with professional rescuers to design the RescueTool pocket knife. It features a seatbelt cutter, a window breaker and a disc saw to cut through shatterproof glass. All tools that have to be available quickly can be opened wearing gloves and every tool is specially designed to work equally well for both left and right handed users. It's the knife we hope you never have to use. But when every second counts, you can count on the RescueTool.

All parts have been subject to stringent tests; particularly the new window breaker and disc saw tools. The rounded belt cutter can be used to cut through seatbelts safely. The tool includes the most important functions for freeing someone trapped in a car.

The martensitic stainless steel alloy that the cutting blades is manufactured from has been optimized for high toughness and is corrosion resistant. The blades have a steel hardness that is suitable for easy resharpening.

The one-handed blade and strong screwdriver (crate opener) are fixed in position when open thanks to the liner lock mechanism.

What we think:
This is a smart pocket knife to keep in the car making your role as first responder much easier.   This would go nicely in a first aid kit for your remote camping adventures.  The bright colour also makes it easier to find when you're looking for it in your glovebox in a hurry.  This is just a good pocket knife to have with useful features to suit modern needs.
