Tentworld Click and Collect Policy

Upon placing your order, you will receive an initial confirmation email. Please note this is not a notification that your order is ready. To avoid disappointment, please allow up to two (2) operating hours for your order to be prepared and wait for your ‘Ready for Collection’ email before travelling to the store.

If you arrive prior to receiving this email, please be prepared for extended wait times, as your order will not be ready. Additionally, orders placed within 2 hours of closing time will be ready for collection the following trading day.

To collect your order, please present your 'Ready for Collection' email to a team member in-store.

  • Authority to Collect: Possession of the 'Ready for Collection' email serves as your authorisation to collect the goods. By showing this email, either virtually or in hard copy, you authorise us to release the order to you or any person acting on your behalf (such as a friend or family member in possession of the ‘Ready for Collection’ email).
  • Refusal of Handover: For security purposes, we reserve the right to refuse to release an order without valid authorisation. If the 'Ready for Collection' email cannot be produced, the person collecting must provide valid photo identification that matches the name and address on the order. A valid photo identification is defined as:
    • Driver’s Licence;
    • Passport; or
    • Proof of age card
  • Large & Heavy Items: If you are collecting large and/or heavy items, please attend our store with a vehicle capable of transporting the item. This includes, but is not limited to, roof-top tents or items that may not fit in the boot or back seat of a standard passenger vehicle. We urge you to check the pack dimensions of the product on our website to determine its size.
  • Check Goods Upon Collection: We ask that you (or the person collecting on your behalf) inspect the order at the counter to ensure all items are accounted for and in good condition. By leaving the store with the items, the order is deemed accepted. While we cannot accept responsibility for missing or visibly damaged items after this point, our standard Warranty and Returns Policy will still apply.

We understand that you may not always be able to make it to the store immediately. However, due to storage limitations, the following timelines apply:

  • 14-Day Holding Period: Unless a prior arrangement has been made with your chosen store, all Click & Collect orders must be collected within 14 days of the 'Ready for Collection' email being sent.
  • Cancellation & Refund: If your order is not collected within this 14-day period, we reserve the right to cancel your order and return the items to stock. In this event, a refund will be processed to your original method of payment.

If you need to change your collection store or cancel your order before collection, please contact the relevant store you placed the order with immediately.

In the rare event that an item is unavailable after you have placed your order (e.g., due to inventory discrepancies), we will contact you as soon as possible to offer a substitute, a waiting period, or a full refund for the unavailable item.
