The OZtrail 16T Soft Shackle is a modern recovery essential, offering a safer, lighter and more versatile alternative to traditional steel shackles. Ideal for use with snatch straps, kinetic recovery ropes and winch setups, it provides a strong and reliable connection for a wide range of off-road recovery situations.
Constructed from high-strength UHMWPE synthetic rope, the soft shackle delivers impressive performance while remaining lightweight and easy to handle. With a 16 tonne minimum breaking strength, a 13mm rope diameter and a 50cm length, it is well suited to demanding recoveries and offers excellent compatibility with a variety of rated recovery points and recovery equipment.
The flexible design allows for easy fitment in tight spaces, while the soft construction helps reduce the risk of damage or injury compared to steel alternatives. A protective PU coating and reinforced nylon sleeve improve resistance to abrasion and wear, ensuring durability in harsh conditions. Independently tested and certified through a NATA-accredited laboratory, the OZtrail 16T Soft Shackle is a compact, dependable addition to any 4WD recovery kit.
