The OZtrail 8T Kinetic Recovery Rope is built to deliver smooth, controlled recoveries when you’re offroad and stuck. With up to 30% stretch, which is 50% more than a traditional snatch strap, it uses stored kinetic energy to create a softer and more effective recovery that helps reduce shock on vehicles and recovery points.
Made from heavy duty double braided nylon, the rope is designed for strength, durability and consistent performance across a wide range of recovery situations — from soft sand to mud and everything in between. The reinforced end loops with a protective nylon sleeve provide added durability where it matters most, while the reflective speck weave improves visibility in low light conditions — ideal for early morning or night-time recoveries. An integrated tie loop keeps the rope neatly secured when packed away, so it’s always ready for the next trip.

- It is recommended that the minimum breaking strength of the strap should be between 2 and 3 times the gross vehicle mass (GVM) of any vehicle it is used with. This recovery strap must be suited to the lighter of the 2 vehicles used in the recovery progress.
