OZtrail 8T Equaliser Strap

The OZtrail 8T Equaliser Strap is a key piece of 4WD recovery gear, designed to improve safety and performance by distributing load evenly across two rated recovery points. Ideal for vehicles fitted with dual rated recovery points, it helps deliver a more stable and controlled recovery, while reducing stress on individual mounting points and vehicle components.

With an 8 tonne load rating, the equaliser strap is suitable for a wide range of 4WD vehicles and recovery situations. By spreading the load across two points, it helps minimise the risk of damage to recovery points, chassis mounts and associated equipment.

The reinforced end loops, along with durable neoprene sleeves near wear points, enhance durability at high stress connection points, while the heavy duty stitched construction ensures long lasting performance. The strap has also been independently tested and certified through a NATA accredited testing laboratory, providing confidence in its strength and reliability.

For added versatility, the strap can also be used as an extension strap when additional length is required in more complex recoveries. Finished with an included tie loop for neat storage, the OZtrail Equaliser Strap is a must have recovery accessory for safer, more balanced 4WD recoveries.

• It is recommended that the minimum breaking strength of the strap should be between 2 and 3 times the gross vehicle mass (GVM) of any vehicle it is used with. This recovery strap must be suited to the lighter of the 2 vehicles used in the recovery progress.
